Renegades mod 2!!

A second round of very minor tweaks. Thank you sonsoftaurus for your recommendations. I appreciate the help. I will have to pick up a few more models, but the list will look more like:

Company Command Squad w/meltagun
Company Commander w/power weapon, plasma pistol

Infantry platoon
Platoon Command w/meltagun
2 x Infantry Squad w/meltagun

Infantry platoon
Platoon Command w/meltagun
2 x Infantry Squad w/meltagun

Infantry platoon
Platoon Command
2 x Infantry Squad

Vendetta

3 x Vendetta w/heavy bolter door gunners

3 x Vendetta w/heavy bolter door gunners

Only need to close the doors on one Vendetta to fit a 3rd platoon of infantry in place of the conscripts. Should be a very positive change to the list. Agree or disagree...input is always welcome.

BTW, got a couple of squads built and the first Vendetta hull constructed. Pictures soon.

  1. Remember you can get up to five squads in a platoon and can combine as desired. So if you're looking for a blob you don't have to make an extra platoon, and to really make them stick around you could use the points from the extra platoon HQ to get a commissar.

    So Troops section could look like:

    Infantry platoon
    Platoon Command w/meltagun (Vend)
    2 x Infantry Squad w/meltagun (Vend, Vend))

    Infantry platoon
    Platoon Command w/meltagun (Vend)
    2 x Infantry Squad w/meltagun (Vend, Vend)
    Infantry Squad w/Commissar(Enforcer) (combine)
    Infantry Squad (combine)

    Or instead of the Commissar could try to squeeze the points for a third squad to combine.

  2. I do have enforcer models...but if I lose the PW and plasma pistol from the company commander, I can squeeze a third squad to combine and though Ld 9 would be nice...I think I like the extra dice instead.
